The Decker Student Center was built in 1978and had fallen short in recent years of meeting the evolving needs of today’s students and the school felt the need to organize a major renovation project.
A collective effort from the design and construction teams helped bring McDaniel College’s vision to life by converting an outdated building into a state-of-the-art facility that reflects the school’s values as a community and helps bring everyone together. The newly renovated student center is home to a Hydrotech Garden Roof® Assembly, kept watertight by Monolithic Membrane 6125®. The green roof features Hydrotech’s InstaGreen® Carpet and Custom Powder Coated GardenEdge® is used to separate the green areas from the vegetation free zones.
