Located on the campus of The George Washington University in the shadow of the Washington Circle in Washington DC, the 2112 Penn Ave (Square 75) project achieved LEED Gold certification after its completion in 2018. Monolithic Membrane 6125® was the waterproofing membrane of choice and the landscape design team incorporated our Garden Roof® and Ultimate Assembly® to add aesthetic and environmental benefits to the roof. Large swaths of ornamental grasses and InstaGreen® Sedum Carpet expand the plant palette, which provide a soft backdrop to the concrete, steel and wood hardscape elements.
